The advantages of having a bottle labelling automation during the process of bottle packaging

The process of labelling is an integral step in the process of bottle labeler  packaging and the levels of automation in the whole process dictates the quality of labelling. The label on a bottle is its most under-rated item even though it lists all the important facts and information in great detail. The importance of the label is such that if someone finds a bottle without a label then he will immediately turn away from it. The label is instrumental to the attractiveness of the bottle but it isn’t there only for show- it has essential information about the contents of the bottle. This makes it a pretty important piece.

Bottle labelling  is among the last processes of the packaging plant and it remains a largely automated process. Before the invention of labelling machines, labels were largely hand painted or drawn on special paper before attaching it to the bottles. In some cases, the label was painted on the bottle itself. But such labelling required an experienced and skilled hand which took time to develop and often these labels were lacking in single department- neatness. Hand painted logos or labels lacked neatness that the modern labelling machines provide.

The hand painted logos and brands were replaced  during the advent of the technological era and soon bottles were being labelled using automated machines. These automated machines were far quicker and more efficient when it comes to printing the labels as well as attaching it on the bottle. They can also be a lot faster and better meet the growing demands of consumers which were not possible a few decades ago. Hand painted brand logos or labels didn’t come cheap and companies had to face a crippling shortage of financial stability. But that problem was also solved by the advent of automated label maker and labelling machines which could now print long rows of labels without any mistake and the next step involved attaching the label to the bottle. This complete process didn’t take a lot of time and as a result the growing demands of the consumers can be met very easily and without any unnecessary delay.

Bottle labelling machines have two very important advantages which are- they decrease the whole time taken for the whole labelling process and thus decrease the time taken for the manufacture. Secondly the introduction of labelling machines has heavily cut down on expenses which have been a huge advantage for bottling and liquid packaging companies.
